Shipwrecked Shanty is a San Francisco bay Area experientially-based Sea Shanty performance that gets the crowd involved in a rip-roaring participatory 'Shantyaoake!' Members of the group have been involved in community sea shanties for over 40 years.

We pride ourselves on lifting the spirits of a room, as well as working in unison with their venues, to bring new and adoring audiences to 'win-win' live performances. The band works collaboratively with the venue to bring future guests, and the guests walk away feeling better for having attended.

Our 'anachronistic' performance is infectious, and before you know it, we've shanghai'd the entire room into singing salty sailor songs! With captivating performances and audience engagement, Shipwrecked Shanty brings the spirit of the sea to life through music and storytelling.
